Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and couples therapy sessions across a diverse range of client backgrounds and age groups, applying evidence-based therapeutic techniques tailored to their specific needs.

• Document therapy notes and client records promptly using our electronic medical records (EMR) system, ensuring all information is kept confidential and complies with legal and ethical standards.

• Manage client schedules effectively by coordinating ongoing appointments and maintaining an organized calendar to enhance client access to services.

• Utilize our billing service to handle claims, maintain client accounts receivable, and perform benefit and eligibility checks to streamline administrative tasks and focus on client care.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and case consultations with team members to continually improve therapeutic skills and adapt to various clinical presentations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

At Verve Wellness & Consulting Center, you will primarily work with clients in hospice care. This role requires sensitivity and a deep understanding of the emotional complexities associated with grief, loss, and end-of-life issues. Your ability to establish strong therapeutic relationships will be crucial in providing clients and their families with the support they need during challenging times.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Clinical Social Work or Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure in Virginia as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) is mandatory for independent practice.

• Demonstrated professionalism, self-motivation, and excellent organizational and time-management skills.
\n
• Ability to maintain healthy therapeutic boundaries and display cultural competency with diverse populations.
\n
• Availability for full-time work, which includes a commitment of at least 20-25 hours per week and the ability to work a minimum of two evenings each week.

Preferred Experience\n

• Significant training or experience working with couples is highly valued and will be an advantage in the selection process.

• Previous experience in hospice or palliative care settings is preferable but not required.

Compensation and Benefits\n
