MDM Data Quality & Cleansing Specialist

A client of Innova Solutions is immediately hiring an MDM Data Quality & Cleansing Specialist

Position type: Fulltime - Contract role
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Wayne, PA

As an MDM Data Quality & Cleansing Specialist, you will:

• Be responsible for Reviewing and research fallout records generated from MDM match merger processes.
• Be responsible for Performing timely and accurate remediation of data exceptions in accordance with predefined business rules and governance standards.
• Be responsible for Validating survivorship outcomes and ensure that entity resolution results align with data stewardship expectations.
• Be responsible for Conducting root cause analysis to determine factors contributing to recurring data exceptions.
• Be responsible for Executing data cleansing tasks including standardization, deduplication, formatting corrections, and attribute validation.
• Be responsible for Verifying data completeness and accuracy using approved tools, templates, and quality checks.
• Be responsible for Performing bulk updates or corrections as authorized, following established protocols and change control requirements.
• Be responsible for Assisting in monitoring data quality dashboards, reports, and exception queues.
• Be responsible for Collaborating with Data Governance, Data Stewards, business partners, and MDM Operations teams to resolve data issues requiring business input.
• Be responsible for Document remediation decisions and maintain required audit trails in accordance with compliance and governance standards.
• Be responsible for Supporting stewardship processes by escalating complex or policy related issues as appropriate.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, Data Quality, or a related data operations role.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (e.g., lookup functions, pivot tables, filtering, data cleaning techniques).
• Experience working with one or more MDM applications (e.g., Informatica or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a high degree of attention to detail.
• Ability to interpret and apply business rules, matching logic, and survivorship frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with match merge or entity resolution workflows.
• Basic proficiency in SQL or other data manipulation/query tools.
• Familiarity with data governance frameworks, data quality rules, and metadata management principles.
• Prior experience working with party (customer, partner) master data.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: Between $25 - $35 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
