A full-time contract Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) is needed to provide coverage for maternity leave across several elementary schools. Enjoy a dynamic daily schedule working directly with one of the district’s occupational therapists to deliver meaningful interventions to students.

This position runs from mid-February through mid-May, with regular hours offering a consistent routine and the chance to collaborate within a supportive educational environment. Each day brings the opportunity to work one-on-one with 9 to 10 students—most in focused, 30-minute treatment sessions—across multiple elementary campuses.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

• Current (or eligible) South Carolina COTA license required
• Prior experience supporting children in school-based or pediatric settings is strongly preferred
• Strong teamwork, collaboration, and communication skills
• Confidence traveling to different school locations as needed
• Comfortable delivering intervention with a student-centered approach

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct therapeutic services to students across designated elementary schools
• Collaborate daily with supervising district occupational therapist to implement treatment plans
• Maintain accurate, timely session documentation and progress notes
• Contribute to a positive learning environment and adapt therapy to diverse student needs
• Effectively manage caseload and schedule across multiple campuses
