Accounting Clerk

National Salvage & Service Corporation is actively searching for an Accounting Clerk. This role is on-site at our home office in Bloomington, Indiana. This role is not remote and does not offer relocation or moving expenses. Job Classification Non-Exempt Daytime Hours Monday - Friday Full Time (Hourly) Regular Position (40 hours) Essential Job Functions Organizational skills filing documents, invoices, and receipts following established processes and procedures Skilled in Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) Experience with accounting software, Sage preferred Experience in TimberScan, preferred Ability to liaise well between accounting and other departments for A/P and PO workflow requirements Comfortable coding and processing 1,000+ invoices per month, regularly. Ability and desire to work in a rapidly changing environment Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling files and records Qualifications Minimum 5-year work experience in accounting in a fast-paced environment preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office Applications, with emphasis on Excel. Capable to Prioritize workload and perform in a Fast-paced and challenging environment Capacity to liaise well between accounting and other departments for A/P and PO workflow requirements Ability and desire to work in a rapidly changing environment Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling files and records Physical Requirements: Stand, Walk, Bend, Twist, Move Throughout the Day, Use Hands in Repetitive Motions, sitting for long periods of time, repeat same movements, Lift 20 pounds. This is an indoor position in a typical office setting.
