Key Responsibilities

• Provide weekly supervision and mentorship to practicum students from accredited Master’s programs as they work toward their clinical licensure.
• Deliver empathetic and effective psychotherapy services tailored to the specific needs of individuals, couples, and families, applying evidence-based practices.
• Collaborate with other professionals within a multidisciplinary team to create comprehensive treatment plans that address physiological, psychological, and social factors impacting client well-being.
• Maintain accurate and concise documentation and records of client sessions and treatment progress in accordance with organizational policies and state regulations.
• Engage in continuous professional development by staying abreast of current research, advancements in therapeutic techniques, and best practices in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse patient population, ranging from adolescents to seniors, who are navigating various life challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, trauma, and adjustment disorders. We serve clients from various backgrounds, making it essential for our team to embody cultural competence and sensitivity in their therapeutic approach.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
• A valid state license, such as LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.
• Professional liability insurance that meets organizational requirements.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health counseling role.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience supervising or mentoring practicum students or interns in a clinical setting.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and experience providing remote therapy services.
• Expertise in specialized therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package that reflects the value of your contributions, with potential earnings between USD 52,000 and 100,000 annually based on experience and hours worked. Additionally, Jackson Counseling Services provides a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
