Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to evaluate their mood disorder symptoms, including their severity, frequency, and duration.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans, aligning with their unique goals and needs.
\n
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) .

• Educate and empower clients and their families about mood disorders, self-care strategies, and available treatment options.

• Monitor client progress throughout the therapeutic process, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care that addresses all facets of client well-being.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge about the latest research and best practices in mood disorder treatment to enhance the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions.

• Document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans accurately, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to foster clinical excellence and collaborative care.

• Engage in advocacy efforts to de-stigmatize mental health issues and promote mental wellness within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Clinical Mental Health Therapist, you will primarily work with clients experiencing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our diverse patient population represents a variety of backgrounds and life experiences, and your role will require sensitivity to their unique circumstances while providing compassionate care.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work , Marriage and Family Therapy , Mental Health Counseling , or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW , LMHC , or LMFT in Washington State.

• Strong communication skills, enabling you to effectively establish rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Two years of post-licensure experience specializing in mood disorders.

• Proficiency in delivering evidence-based therapies like CBT and DBT.

• Understanding of psychopharmacology and proficiency in interdisciplinary collaboration with medical professionals.
