Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients experiencing mood disorders, determining the severity and impact of their symptoms on daily functioning.

• Develop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and therapeutic goals.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to guide clients through their treatment journey.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families about mood disorders, empowering them with knowledge regarding treatment pathways and self-care techniques.

• Continuously monitor and assess clients' progress throughout the treatment process, making adaptations to treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and medical professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care that encompasses both therapeutic and pharmacological treatment options.

• Maintain compliance with state and federal laws regarding patient confidentiality, creating thorough documentation of assessments and treatment plans.

• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities to stay updated on the latest research and treatment methodologies.

• Act as an advocate for mental health awareness, working to alleviate the stigma surrounding mood disorders and promoting mental well-being initiatives in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will predominantly work with clients experiencing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and generalized anxiety disorders. Working with a diverse clientele in Fremont will require an understanding of cultural nuances in mental health therapy. The therapist's role is crucial in helping clients navigate their mental health challenges, leading them towards recovery and improved quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• A minimum of three years of post-licensure experience in the mental health field, specifically in treating mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 115,000 to USD 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
