Retail Service Specialist

Compensation Pay Range: $16.90 - $24.90 per hour. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation may include annual, quarterly performance bonuses or premiums, which may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed, and multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met. Job Responsibilities Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers. Supervise customer service levels on the retail showroom, including team member execution on programs such as Related Sales, Hi5, Rock the Call, Never Say No, and Rock the Lot. Ensure the telephone is answered according to company policy. Process buy online/ship to store, hub and store-to-store transfers, and DC add orders in a timely manner and notify customers of shipment arrivals as needed. Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently and according to procedure, using the electronic outside purchase order ledger. Process retail customer returns and exchanges accurately, issue refunds with correct payment methods, and stage returned merchandise in the returns area. Invoice all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, before product leaves the store. Communicate Zipline messages and delegate Image Maker and merchandising tasks as assigned. Ensure team members adhere to the posted work schedule, obtain approvals for changes or deviations, and clock in/out according to company policy. Perform all store opening and closing duties, including day‑end procedures, securing money and deposits, preparing bank deposits, ensuring night security lights are on, locking doors and securing the building, arming/disarming security alarms, and securing delivery vehicles. Assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of an Assistant Manager or Store Manager. Perform all other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Skills Required: Strong communication skills; ability to obtain RSS Certification. Desired: Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts; automotive systems and repair knowledge; ASE Certification; fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired).
