Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to assess the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders.

• Create individualized treatment plans that align with clients’ unique needs and therapeutic goals, integrating evidence-based practices.

• Utilize therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to facilitate the healing process.

• Offer education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders and effective self-care strategies.

• Monitor client progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure the delivery of holistic care.

• Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal requirements and ethical standards.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to foster continuous improvement within our service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LMFT will work closely with a diverse population, including individuals experiencing mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. This role requires a deep understanding of the challenges faced by marginalized groups, including the homeless, refugees, and survivors of domestic violence. By offering tailored therapeutic support, you will help these individuals navigate their unique struggles and work towards improved mental health outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

Compensation and Benefits\n

We are pleased to offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
