Responsibilities

Join a collegial group of faculty at Northside's Family Medicine GME Program.

Northside's Family Medicine Program seeks a dedicated Family Medicine Faculty Member to join their growing team. Our Family Medicine Residency has grown in size from 15 residents to 24 residents, a testament to our program's progress and success.

Northside is proud to have a large group of core faculty, consisting of Doctors of Osteopathic and Allopathic Medicine, who are dedicated to ensuring our residents and fellows receive the highest quality clinical experience and medical training during their time in our programs. This commitment is at the heart of our educational mission.

Northside offers the following ACGME-approved postgraduate programs: Internal Medicine Preliminary Year, Categorical Positions, Family Medicine Categorical Positions, Transitional Year Program, and a Sports Medicine Fellowship.

Education

• DO (To maintain the program's Osteopathic recognition)
• Completion of an accredited Family Medicine program

Licensure/Certification

• BC|BE in Family Medicine

Qualifications

Required:

• DO degree-To maintain Osteopathic recognition for the program
• Board Certified or truly Board Eligible in Family Medicine
• Licensed and eligible to practice in Georgia
• Unrestricted DEA Registration

Preferred:

• 5 years of teaching experience and experience in graduate medical education administration
• 2 years' experience in family medicine education
• Provide ambulatory and inpatient care
• Advanced knowledge of clinical ultrasound use in musculoskeletal medicine and experience in procedural training for fellows and residents
