Position Overview We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Wholesale Major Accounts Sales Assistant to support our sales team in managing key national and specialty retail accounts. The ideal candidate has experience supporting major wholesale accounts, buying teams, or sales operations within the home furnishings, lifestyle, or consumer goods industry. This position plays a critical role in ensuring seamless communication, accurate order management, timely execution of customer programs, and coordination with both domestic teams and overseas factory partners. Key Responsibilities Provide day-to-day administrative and operational support to the VP of Merchandising. Assist in managing major wholesale accounts, including purchase order accuracy, order tracking, confirmations, and reporting. Maintain accurate account information across internal systems. Prepare sales tools including line sheets, inventory reports, sales templates, and other Excel-based reports. Support the preparation and distribution of weekly stock lists and inventory reports. Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Planning, Logistics, and Customer Service to ensure timely order fulfillment and customer satisfaction. Build and maintain professional relationships with buyers and account partners. Coordinate special order and private label programs, assisting with production timelines, order placement, and follow-up. Communicate with overseas agents and factory partners regarding purchase order placement, production status, shipping timelines, and production follow-up to ensure on-time delivery. Monitor open orders and proactively communicate updates to internal teams and customers. Qualifications 1-3 years of experience supporting wholesale sales, major accounts, buying, or sales operations (home furnishings, lifestyle, fashion, or consumer goods preferred). Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and reporting. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Detail-oriented with exceptional follow-through and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a fast-paced team environment. Bachelor's degree preferred. Basic understanding of the product development and production process for special order and private label programs. Experience communicating with overseas vendors, factories, or sourcing agents is preferred. Ability to manage multiple production timelines while maintaining accuracy and meeting customer deadlines.
