Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Welkins Mind Healthcare, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients’ mental health to create tailored treatment plans.

• Delivering one-on-one therapy sessions using evidence-based methodologies that support personal growth and emotional wellbeing.

• Setting specific therapeutic goals with clients and regularly assessing their progress to ensure effectiveness of the treatment.

• Engaging in virtual therapy sessions, utilizing secure technology platforms to connect with clients comfortably and confidentially.

• Maintaining up-to-date and precise client records in compliance with ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and quality of care.

• Participating in ongoing professional development through workshops, webinars, and team training to stay informed about emerging trends in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will support a diverse client population, including individuals facing challenges related to addiction, families navigating complex relationship dynamics, and children and teens addressing mental health concerns. Special consideration is given to serving clients of color and members of the LGBTQIA community, emphasizing culturally competent care tailored to the unique experiences and needs of each client.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.

• Current state-issued license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• At least two years of full-time counseling experience in a similar role.
