Rental Sales Management Trainee

Rental Sales Management Trainee Location: Auburn, MI Schedule: Monday through Friday, 1st Shift Job Summary This fast‑paced program touches every aspect of the rental sales business unit. You will acquire industry knowledge, develop relationship‑building skills, and build a career path from within based on performance. The program typically lasts 18‑24 months, but can be completed in as little as 12 months. Essential Functions Handle inbound calls and outbound solicitation to generate rental, lease, and used vehicle sales leads. Maintain accurate data in the company’s marketing database. Manage all rental asset processes, including vehicle preventive maintenance and cleanliness standards. Execute sales and marketing initiatives to meet overall market‑share goals. Ensure compliance with company, local, state, federal, and other regulatory agencies. Reconcile customer concerns to maintain ongoing relationships and grow the customer base. Additional Responsibilities Serve as an On‑Call Representative on a voluntary basis, as directed by a supervisor. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills and Abilities Strong verbal and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal skills and flexibility to work in a fast‑paced environment. High energy, self‑motivated, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to build professional relationships at all organizational levels. Detail oriented with strong follow‑up practices. Computer literate (intermediate level required). Willingness to relocate to the region or the U.S. upon completion of training. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field. At least one year of customer service experience with issue resolution preferred.
