Data & Reporting Analyst/Sr AnalystFLEETCOR is seeking a Data & Reporting Analyst/Senior Analyst for the North America Fuel business. The position will be located in FLEETCOR’s Tennessee office in Brentwood and is a key member of the North America Fuel revenue management team, specifically supporting the North America Trucking business.The candidate will be responsible for maintaining the functional database and processes/workflows including data cleansing, transformation, modification and addition. He/she will also support ad hoc data request and analysis working with other team members as well cross functional teams including product, marketing, sales to carry forward business strategies and initiatives. The candidate will also lead the design, development and maintenance of business KPI reports and dashboards via excel and Tableau.The candidate needs to have advanced data management and analytical skills, be able to synthesize complex and diverse information, research data, identify pattern and draw conclusions. He/she will be a critical team member developing and executing data analysis to derive value from financial data through reporting and analytics.We are also looking for an individual with outstanding business and problem solving acumen who not only satisfies internal stakeholder’s need for data but also proactively providing solutions. The ideal candidate must be comfortable working in a fast-paced and complex data environment. Additionally, he/she must be a strong collaborator, recognized for building credibility, commitment and energy within the team and with business leaders.Role ResponsibilityCollaborate with users to understand business intent, determine data requirements, and deliver timely and accurate data.Collect, validate, analyze and maintain business data to drive optimization and improvement of product development, pricing techniques and other business strategies.Audit and review data processes to identify data quality issues and recommend improvements to current processes with a focus on increased efficiencies and enhanced value-added analytics.Automate reports based on user requests or by observing frequency of ad-hoc reports being requestedManage initiatives to homogenize data from multiple platforms and sources, different formats, lead business process migration to the CloudMaintain Tableau report data feeds from a variety of sources, including SQL Server, Redshift, Oracle, Tableau Server sources and Excel.Introduce new analysis, reporting formats, etc. that provide insights to different areas of the business.Provide support on a variety of integration and other special projects central to improving internal business processes.Maintain data and process documentationQualifications2 – 4 years’ experience in data, reporting, analytical roleExperience in data warehousing, big data, business intelligence, reporting, and analytics.Expertise in business analytics and tools including advanced Excel, SQL and Alteryx a must and a solid understanding of databases; Tableau experience preferred.Extensive experience and willingness to dive into large/complex data sets; ability to perform data validation, clean up and transformation needed for business analysis, as well as detailed data analysis (i.e. determine the structure, content, and quality of the dataGreat verbal and written communication skills and ability to work in a teamWillingness and ability to learnThorough and detail orientedSelf-motivated with ability to define, structure and prioritize work for self and flexibility and capability to change priorities when circumstances dictatePersonal AttributesStrong interpersonal skills and relationship management.Collaborative and motivated by working effectively with othersThe ability to deal with ambiguity and adapt easily to rapidly changing business conditions.Results focused.Accountable; strong sense of ownership.Unquestionable Independence and IntegrityRequired Skills: Must have extensive SQL experience and have the ability to write queries.
