Director, Program Management

AbbVie seeks a Director of Program Management to oversee manufacturing and capital programs within Engineering. The role involves leading cross-functional teams through complex program implementation while managing budgets, timelines, and stakeholder communication in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Lead multiple cross-functional teams through complex program implementation and execution
Establish program strategy, timelines, technical and regulatory requirements
Evaluate risk management and contingency plans for program success
Define budgets and report monthly actuals against financial schedules
Facilitate team discussions to resolve conflicts and ensure alignment throughout execution

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering; MBA preferred
10+ years pharmaceutical industry experience, 5+ years program management
Expertise in GMP manufacturing, supply chain, CMC development, and pharma regulations
Strong project management and strategic planning skills with large complex programs
PMP certification a plus
Proven leadership, communication, and conflict resolution across technical teams
Experience in global, multicultural environments
