Intellectual Property Legal Assistant / Paralegal
Our client, an Am Law firm , is seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join its growing IP practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work on sophisticated patent, trademark, and litigation matters while enjoying a highly competitive compensation package and a reasonable annual billable requirement.
Responsibilities:
- Manage IP dockets and client portfolios
- Support patent and trademark prosecution matters
- Prepare, format, proofread, and file legal documents
- Track deadlines and maintain case files
- Coordinate client communications and reporting
- Assist with litigation support and document management
- Handle administrative functions including invoicing, travel coordination, and file maintenance
Qualifications:
- Experience with patent, trademark, and/or IP litigation matters
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal management systems
