Remote Sales Executive

For our Channel Sales Team in the UK, we are looking for a Remote Sales Executive Distribution

In this role, you will develop and secure a profitable, sustainable pipeline of business in the commercial buildings arena, across our wider product portfolio, including Low Voltage solutions (e.g. transformers, switchboards, final distribution equipment), power quality and building safety (Fire, Emergency Lighting Intrusion).

You will be working closely with peers in the UK, including business units and marketing teams acquiring share through integrated business development activities.

Scope of target customers: Distribution Branches, Branch Managers, Buyers, Trade counter staff & their customer base as required e.g. Contractors.

Location: Ideally based in UK North - West Manchester area, UK South - West Bristol area, and North - East Newcastle area, with the ability to travel extensively across the region (approximately 25% travel) to support customers, consultants and project opportunities.

What you’ll do:

• Drive sales growth through direct virtual and in person engagement with your target accounts to exceed targets and to grow market share.

• Plan and execute your account sales plan focusing on key activities to generate enquiries, build pipeline and continuously improve win conversion rates.

• Maintain customer relationships through regular engagement and continuous dialogue, presenting product updates to customers to drive new enquiries.

• Provide insights into the demand you are creating by actively maintaining quality CRM data in Salesforce.

• Proactively identify, target and acquire new customers which is focused around our growth strategy.

• Actively support competitor cross selling opportunities to grow Eaton Market share.

• Follow up on leads and provide ongoing information to support the lead management process.

• Understand share within your accounts, define growth actions and activities with agreed targets.

• Be motivated by continuous improvement and strive to constantly exceed customer expectations.

• Data driven – be able to understand data, draw conclusions and make recommendations on how we should adapt based on what we are seeing.

• Working in a strategic manner developing account plans to maximise the influence and opportunity.

• Cross Sell as ‘One Eaton’ to drive new business opportunities.

• Gathering, identifying and reporting customer and market information on new or prospective products.

• Working collaboratively and effectively across Eaton’s UK sales group and the wider organisation.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a similar role

• Previous experince in dealing with the electrical sector with be an advantage

Skills:

• Remote and field sales experience in electrical components - commercial and institutional sector’ channel sales would be an advantage, but not mandatory.

• Knowledge and experience of sales in power management control components’ within the UK wholesale distribution sector would be an advantage.

• Onboarding and ongoing training will be provided.

• Ability to work independently and effectively collaborate as part of a large team, within a complex global organisation.

• Resilient, energetic, efficient, curious, rapport building, strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Excellent planning and organisation skills.

• IT literacy.
