Overview
Registered Nurse – Labor & Delivery / Newborn Nursery (LDRP) travel assignment in Newark, NY. This OB-focused role supports antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care within a Labor/Delivery/Recovery/Postpartum (LDRP) and Newborn Nursery unit. Start date: 08/17/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts. Weekly pay: $2,403–$2,497. This is a hospital-based position with independent practice across the obstetric continuum in a high-acuity setting.

- Location eligibility: Newark, NY; candidates outside 75 miles from the facility only

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive OB care across antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care in LDRP and Newborn Nursery settings
- Triage OB patients, manage labor progression, immediate vaginal recovery, postpartum recovery, and newborn assessment/resuscitation
- Circulate and scrub for cesarean deliveries and provide C-section PACU care
- Monitor fetal status using external/internal fetal monitoring and document findings in the patient record
- Administer medications, initiate IVs, operate infusion pumps, and support epidural care; manage postpartum hemorrhage as needed
- Document in EPIC and collaborate with PT, respiratory, interpretation services, radiology, social services, pharmacy, and other team members

Requirements
- Active New York RN license in hand required to submit
- Minimum 1 year of acute hospital RN experience
- Hands-on OB experience across antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care (LDRP and Newborn Nursery)
- Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications
- EPIC charting experience required
- On-call and floating within skillset; rotating weekends; RTO cannot exceed 10 days
- Location restrictions: Candidates outside the facility’s local radius (more than 75 miles away) are preferred
