Position Description: The Operation Manager is responsible for overseeing shop floor employees that perform a variety of aerospace manufacturing processes. The Operation Manager role works very closely with the production planning group to effectively communicate daily priorities to the floor. Essential Responsibilities: Supervise and motivate a team of workers. Troubleshoot problems with parts and equipment. Ensure health and safety guidelines are always followed. Act with integrity and ethical behavior. Oversee production methods and look for improvements. Coordinate several products simultaneously. Qualifications: Strong verbal communication and ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Able to read blueprints and operation sheets. Excellent organizational skills to be able to monitor the production process. Ability to act decisively and solve personnel or equipment related problems. Ability to work under pressure and multitask. Leadership skills and the ability to motivate others to meet deadlines. A results-driven approach Experience in a machine shop environment, preferably with leadership experience.
