Role Description

Contractors for Furniture Delivery and Light Assembly – Home Furnishing Deliveries

Job Type: Contract

Settlements: potential to earn 40K-100K+ dependent upon volume, location, and contract work accepted. Settlements process weekly.

AIT Home Delivery offers the ultimate level of customer care for the final delivery, assembly and/or repair of consumer goods. Our dedicated teams of contractors offer fast and reliable home services for many high-end companies sending goods directly to consumers.

Responsibilities

Delivery and Assembly Contract Team:
Involves picking up orders at a local furniture retailer's warehouse and delivering to customer homes.
Light assembly may be required involving chair legs or backs of chairs.
2 man teams required.

Qualifications

Must have a 24'-26' box truck. Lift gate required.
Must have a reliable helper. Two man teams required.
Must have an EIN (federal tax ID) - This can be obtained (free) at irs.gov.
Comply with insurance, vehicle registrations.
DOT /MC compliance.
Must comply with your state laws for the vehicle being used to complete work.
Background and Drug Screens are performed on all contractors including helpers.
MVR are performed for all driving contractors.
You must be committed to providing exceptional customer service.
Be tech savvy with a mobile phone and excellent communication skills.
