Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Painter. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality painting services across a variety of commercial projects, including office buildings, retail spaces, industrial facilities, and renovation sites. Your expertise will help transform spaces, enhance their durability, and ensure a polished, professional finish that meets client specifications. Duties

• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and applying primer to ensure optimal paint adhesion.
• Apply paints, stains, sealers, and coatings using brushes, rollers, airless spray equipment, or other power tools to achieve smooth finishes.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute painting plans.
• Perform surface repairs such as plastering, caulking, and patching to create a flawless base for painting.
• Execute specialty finishes including stucco, industrial coatings, or restoration painting to meet project specifications.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols on construction sites and properly handling hazardous materials when necessary.
• Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople such as carpenters or masons to coordinate work efforts effectively.
• Conduct touch-ups and final inspections to ensure quality standards are met before project completion.

Experience

• Proven experience in commercial painting projects
• Hands-on experience with residential painting as well as large-scale industrial or renovation projects.
• Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and ability to work efficiently in active environments.
• Knowledge of various surface preparation techniques 
• Competence in using hand tools such as brushes, rollers, scrapers; power tools including airless paint sprayers.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to paint quantities and surface areas.
• Additional handyman skills such as fixture installation or trim carpentry are advantageous for versatile project support.
