OUR IMPACT

The Natural Resources Group is a global team with bankers around the world. The group has a significant presence with offices in New York, Houston, Toronto, Calgary, London, Hong Kong and Buenos Aires, among others. The group covers metals & mining, chemicals, power & utilities, and energy (including alternative and renewable energy). The analyst role will focus specifically on energy banking in Houston.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Investment Banking Analysts at Goldman Sachs gain exposure to the firm's businesses and expanded knowledge of the investment banking industry, as they develop key analytical, communications, marketing and sales skills. Analysts create and analyze financial models, performing scenario analyses and tests to examine the effects of client alternatives. In addition, analysts organize and prepare presentations, which explain industry trends, discuss client options, and recommend strategies to meet client goals. Analysts may also participate in and conduct due diligence sessions, a necessary component of financial transactions. From maintaining client communication to helping Goldman Sachs structure client transactions, our analysts are a vital part of Goldman Sachs banking teams. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES WE ARE LOOKING FOR
