About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Client Processing Manager with a focus on complex letter of credit structuring and high-priority trade client support. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire letter of credit life cycle, ensuring timely and quality support for client transactions. This role involves working closely with various stakeholders, including clients, financial institutions, and non-banking financial institutions. Key responsibilities include providing comprehensive training to the team, handling high-priority client transactions and inquiries, and applying in-depth knowledge to resolve complex transaction issues. The role also requires participation in the risk and control committee, leading workflow optimization, and process improvement, and acting as an escalation point for complex problems. Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years' experience in the trade finance domain, with a strong background in letter of credit, document examination, and guarantees. A deep understanding of UCP, URDG, and ISP guidelines is preferred, along with relevant local or regional licenses and trade certifications. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of sanctions, anti-money laundering, and boycott guidelines as they pertain to trade finance. A Bachelor's degree is required, with an advanced or post-graduation degree being preferred. The role demands a professional with a proven track record in a fast-paced, metric-driven environment, and experience in leading a team. The candidate should be adept at problem-solving, and process improvement, and have the ability to provide expert guidance on service offerings.
