Laser Operator

We are looking for dedicated Laser Operators to join our manufacturing team. You will play a vital role in our production cycle by executing key technical tasks. Primary Duties Configure and manage CNC laser cutting machinery to manufacture metal components per project requirements. Help maintain efficient production flow by loading and unloading raw sheet metal into the equipment. Interpret technical blueprints, production schematics, and detailed work instructions. Oversee the laser during active cycles and perform necessary minor adjustments. Verify the quality and precision of finished components by utilizing measurement instruments like tape measures and calipers. Communicate any equipment malfunctions or quality discrepancies to leadership to ensure operational excellence. Prepare parts for subsequent production phases by sorting, labeling, and arranging them. Maintain accurate production logs by documenting output totals and scrap rates. Requirements and Skills Prior experience in operating laser machinery. Demonstrated capability to effectively prepare and run laser equipment. Familiarity with using precision tools such as tape measures, micrometers, and calipers. Competence in handling various hand tools. Physical ability to consistently lift up to 35 lbs and occasionally handle up to 40 lbs. Capacity to remain in a seated or standing position for extended shifts.
