Analyst Refund Clerk

The Analyst refund clerk is responsible for the timely, accurate, and efficient review and analysis of payments and adjustments from insurance payers to determine the accuracy of posting and the validity of the remittance. The Analyst-refund clerk will also be responsible for identifying, researching and refunding any dollars due to guarantor or payer. Communicate with insurance payer's complex financial concepts pertaining to contracts and the many different explanation's of benefits.

Preferred Qualifications:

Must be able to type 50 words per minute and 10-key calculator.

Basic computer literacy, including keyboard and mouse. Microsoft office preferred.

Must have good organizational skills, reading, writing and proven communication skills.

Must have 2 years of general office experience.

Prefer 1 year of hospital/medical office billing and collections or can demonstrate an understanding of hospital billing and collections.

Medical terminology helpful.

Course work with accounting.

High school graduate with a background in typing, English and Math.
