Bookkeeper assistant

We are seeking a detail-oriented Project Administrative Assistant with light bookkeeping or accounting experience to support our Accounting Manager on a high-priority data organization project. This is a short-term, hands-on role focused on digitizing, categorizing, and reconciling paper financial records. Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in administrative support, data entry, or entry-level accounting/bookkeeping.
• Familiarity with basic accounting terminology and invoice processing formats.
• strong organizational skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proven reliability, self-motivation, and ability to work independently after initial training.

salary: $18 - $20 per hour
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Batch-scan physical invoice document boxes and upload them to our digital filing system.
• Sort and organize vendor invoices by date, vendor, and expense category.
• Perform basic reconciliation between paper invoices and digital records/ledger entries.
• Flag discrepancies, missing information, or duplicate entries for management review.
