Accounts Receivable Specialist

Schedule Full Time, Days. How You’ll Contribute Perform accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, journal entries, payroll weekly reports, general ledger and financial analysis. Maximize collection of medical services payments and reimbursements from patients, insurance carriers, and other sources. Identify, communicate, and establish processes to mitigate risks to the revenue cycle. Utilize web-based tools and available resources to provide insurance companies with required information. Use multiple information systems to accurately select patient accounts, review and verify billable charges. Assist with audits to capture lost charges and determine billing accuracy. Accounts receivable and general accounting experience. High degree of analytical ability and strategic thinking.
