Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support a high-profile merger and acquisition initiative. This individual will play a critical role in gathering, consolidating, and managing business requirements across multiple departments while serving as a liaison between internal leadership, business stakeholders, and external consulting partners.

The ideal candidate is an experienced, self-directed Business Analyst with strong communication and organizational skills who can work independently, facilitate meetings with senior leaders, manage confidential information, and drive projects forward in a fast-paced environment. This role will focus heavily on requirements gathering, documentation, stakeholder management, and coordinating the flow of information to support integration planning and decision-making.

Skills and Requirements

8-10+ years of Business Analyst experience in enterprise environments.

Proven ability to independently lead meetings and drive deliverables with minimal supervision.

Strong experience gathering, documenting, and consolidating business requirements from multiple stakeholders.

Experience creating executive-ready documentation and presentations.

Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong project coordination and follow-up skills with the ability to track deadlines, dependencies, and action items.

Advanced Microsoft Office experience, particularly Excel, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint.

Experience working with large datasets and large-file formats, including organizing and formatting data for business consumption.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to handling confidential information appropriately. Experience supporting mergers, acquisitions, business integrations, or large organizational transformation initiatives.

Background in retail, wholesale distribution, food service, supply chain, or related industries.

Experience partnering with third-party consulting firms or external business partners.

Familiarity with audit support, compliance documentation, or governance processes.
