Project Accountant

A national general contractor is looking to add a Project Accountant to their team. The Project Accountant is responsible for reconciling and maintaining accurate and complete project accounting records. Ideally, the Project Accountant has experience with AIA billing. Project Kick-Off Meeting with Project Management Team and Estimating Team Process Monthly Client AIA G702/G703 Pay Applications through Procore/SAGE software Managing Subcontractor Project AIA Invoicing through Procore/SAGE software Accounts Receivable & AR Collections: Follow up with clients on outstanding pay applications Assist the CFO with weekly Subcontractor payments Assist CFO with the month-end closing process Complete project financial closeout upon completion of the project Monthly Project Financial reviews with Project Managers and CFO Perform other duties as assigned by the CFO Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or similar field 5+ years’ experience related to the Construction Project Accountant Role AIA billing experience preferred NYC and NYS public agency billing preferred Sage 300 & Procore Software experience preferred Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr Cobalt Recruitment
