Director of Sales

Lead a team of Account Managers to drive profitable revenue growth and achieve monthly goals Use data analytics to build account plans focused on growth and execution across vertical markets Partner with Sales leadership and Account Managers to develop customer and channel-partner offerings and close high-profile deals Improve sales efficiency and provide sales training for Account Managers Champion and support the Global Sales Model Communicate and ensure adherence to sales operations processes and global best practices Establish and drive meetings, attendance, committed outcomes, tracking, and execution Facilitate sales forecasting focused on new business, as-sold margin, and forecast accuracy Provide analysis and reporting for order intake, gross margin, pipeline, and cost information Identify, prioritize, and communicate improvement areas to Sales leadership Lead growth and productivity projects and initiatives across the sales organization Serve as an internal Sales ambassador with Finance, Legal, Marketing, Technology, Quality, and IT stakeholders Drive new customer expansion in untouched or under-achieving vertical markets Support internal and external sales events, including annual sales meetings, managers’ workshops, and training events Support achievement of annual Order Intake and Gross Margin objectives Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or related discipline 10+ years of successful experience in complex solution sales 5+ years of experience in management Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong business acumen Strong analytical/quantitative abilities, problem solving and presentation skills Demonstrated experience facilitating meetings and group processes Ability to establish and foster relationships between various internal/external customers Capable of working in a matrix environment and managing multiple priorities Minimum two years’ experience providing analysis for large sales/financial datasets to make meaningful conclusions Core Competencies Demonstrates strong leadership in managing Account Managers to drive revenue growth while utilizing data analytics for strategic account planning.
