Athletic Coordinator

To run a successful athletics program where large numbers and high level athletes are expected to thrive as well as beginners. To create an opportunity for as many students as possible to develop the skills needed to be a successful student-athlete in a competitive world. To continue on the path of success and to work in conjunction with LaSalle Academy's missions and goals, regular communication and coordination with teachers, parents, athletes, support personnel, and administration is necessary.

Responsibilities include following the SBCSC schedule, hiring officials, athletic trainers, and security, providing leadership in the recruitment and evaluation of athletic coaches, communicating use of the facilities, fostering relationships with community organizations, assisting in the development of rules and regulations, maintaining the athletics website, working with coaching staff and maintenance personnel, fundraising for the athletics department, running parent meetings, arranging transportation, providing paperwork, arranging for ticket takers, organizing sports banquets, striving for improvement, working with various individuals and stakeholders, making good decisions, and keeping LaSalle traditions and spirit alive.

Physical requirements include prolonged sitting, standing, and/or walking; physical exertion to move, lift, carry, pull or push heavy objects and equipment; working indoors and outdoors regardless of the weather; working long and sometimes irregular hours; handling stress; and working regularly scheduled hours.
