Description:

We are looking for a flexible Medical Assistant/Front Desk team member who can support both clinical and administrative needs within the facility. This position will assist with patient care, rooming patients, scheduling, answering phones, greeting and checking in patients, maintaining patient information, and other clinical or administrative duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with both Medical Assistant and Front Desk dutie s based on daily staffing and patient needs. 
• Greet, check in, and assist patients with necessary paperwork. 
• Schedule, reschedule, and cancel patient appointments. 
• Answer and route incoming calls and take accurate messages. 
• Enter and maintain patient demographic and insurance information. 
• Room patients, obtain and document vital signs, and prepare patients for provider visits. 
• Assist providers with patient care and procedures within the scope of the position. 
• Prepare and stock exam rooms and maintain necessary clinical supplies. 
• Assist with clinical documentation, orders, and other patient-care needs as assigned. 
• Maintain patient privacy and confidentiality. 
• Perform general office, clerical, and administrative duties as needed. 
• Work collaboratively with clinical and front-office staff to support efficient daily operations. 

Requirements:

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent. 
• Medical Assistant education/certification preferred. 
• Previous medical office or clinical experience preferred. 
• Ability and willingness to work in both Medical Assistant and Front Desk roles as needed. 
• Strong customer service and communication skills. 
• Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to changing needs. 
• Professional, dependable, organized, and detail-oriented. 
• Ability to work effectively with patients, providers, management, and other team members. 

Physical Requirements

All applicants must be physically able to satisfactorily perform the essential duties of the position, including moving throughout the facility and assisting with patient-care and administrative responsibilities.
