Why This Role Is Important Support approximately 250 to 300 employees within a fast‑paced freight brokerage environment. Partner closely with operations leaders to coach managers, support employee engagement, and help drive retention. Be heavily involved in employee relations, performance management, compliance, staffing strategy, and organizational change. Address integration of acquired teams, providing HR leadership around manager coaching, hiring practices, and workforce alignment. Hands‑on HRBP role requiring comfort being close to the employee population and directly involved in day‑to‑day business needs. Qualifications 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in a fast‑paced operational environment. Experience supporting large employee populations, ideally 250+ employees across multiple levels and functions. Strong employee relations, performance management, retention, and manager coaching experience. Ability to partner closely with recruiting and operations teams on staffing, workforce planning, and organizational changes. Background in transportation, logistics, manufacturing, hospitality, startup, or other high‑volume environments would translate well.
