Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will engage in a variety of essential tasks aimed at enhancing client outcomes:

• Provide individualized, one-on-one counseling sessions to clients, assisting them in managing mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions, offering support through peer interactions and psychoeducational approaches to address shared mental health challenges.

• Collaborate with clients to develop tailored treatment plans that include specific, measurable goals and appropriate therapeutic interventions.

• Respond effectively in crisis situations by offering immediate support, performing risk assessments, and coordinating necessary emergency interventions.

• Engage in continuous professional development to stay abreast of the latest mental health research, therapeutic techniques, and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will directly impact individuals from diverse backgrounds facing a range of mental health difficulties. You will be responsible for providing empathetic care to clients dealing with acute to chronic conditions, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma-related disorders, and addiction issues. By understanding each client’s unique circumstances and experiences, you will be able to offer personalized therapeutic techniques that resonate with their specific needs.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Washington.
