Work Environment\n

The role is entirely remote, offering you the flexibility to work from home while maintaining a work-life balance. Our normal business hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This structure is designed to allow our therapists to manage their schedules efficiently while providing high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed patient assessments, evaluating the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms related to mood disorders such as depression and anxiety.

• Develop comprehensive, individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, ensuring that the therapy aligns with their specific needs and preferences.
\n
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to treat mood disorders.

• Provide ongoing education regarding mood disorders and treatment options, enabling clients and their families to understand available resources and support strategies.
\n
• Continuously monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed based on client feedback and observed outcomes.
\n
• Work alongside psychiatrists and additional healthcare professionals to provide holistic, integrated care for clients.
\n
• Stay current with advancements in mental health research, integrating new methodologies and insights into practice.

• Maintain indeed, precise documentation of all counseling sessions and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in professional development activities, including team meetings and case consultations, to increase clinical competence and stay updated on best practice strategies.

• Act as an advocate for clients to promote mental health awareness and combat the stigma surrounding mood disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals struggling with mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our client base is diverse, and we are committed to understanding and accommodating the unique backgrounds and experiences of each individual who seeks our help.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Psychologist in Washington State.

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities specifically for mood disorders, with proven success in counseling.

• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology and the ability to liaise effectively with psychiatric professionals.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with clients from various backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of three years of experience in mental health counseling, particularly focused on treating mood disorders.
