Clinical Educator

Employment Type Full time Shift Day Shift Description The Clinical Educator works in a collaborative environment at Holy Cross Health within the Emergency Department, Short-term Observation and the float pool to deliver excellent patient care as part of an interdisciplinary team providing evidence-based medicine and individualized patient care. What You Will Do Employment Type/Shift: FT Days Using Quality Caring Model, demonstrates acceptable performance, and applies nursing process, to plan and manage care of routine patients, including patient and family education, and continuum of care planning. Leads, delegates and serves as a mentor to others on the team. Provides formal and informal education for nurses and other health professionals/students. This Position Oversees Float Pool nurses and CNA Short stay observation nurses Support ED nurses and techs Minimum Qualifications Graduate from an accredited nursing program; MSN or actively enrolled in MSN program. Current Registered Nurse licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing or Compact State. Certifications aligned with area of responsibility preferred.
