Workplace Operations Consultant

Job Title: Workplace Operations Consultant Overview: Are you a dynamic professional with a passion for creating seamless and efficient work environments? We are seeking an experienced Workplace Operations Consultant to play a pivotal role in supporting and refining the physical operations of a leading regional hub. This contract position offers an exciting opportunity to be a key operational driver in maintaining a welcoming, functional workspace that fosters collaboration and productivity. If you thrive in fast-paced settings and excel at vendor management, process improvement, and event support, this could be the perfect fit for you. Required Skills: 5+ years of experience in facilities coordination, corporate operations, or premium hospitality services within a corporate environment. Proven expertise in managing external vendor relationships (janitorial, facilities, catering). Strong analytical skills to identify operational inefficiencies and implement practical improvements. Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and vendors. Proficiency with Google Workspace, workplace ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow), and modern AI productivity tools. Experience coordinating onsite events, meetings, and executive visits. Ability to develop and maintain detailed documentation for operational processes and metrics. Nice to Have Skills: Experience leveraging AI tools and automation to enhance workflow efficiency. Background in space planning, occupancy analytics, or future workplace strategy. Familiarity with safety protocols, emergency preparedness, and compliance standards. Preferred Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred. 5+ years of relevant professional experience in facilities or operations roles in fast-paced corporate environments. Other Requirements: This role is onsite in San Francisco, CA. Contract duration: 6 months, with an immediate start preferred. W2 employment only; no C2C arrangements accepted. Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and external partners. Open to candidates comfortable working in dynamic, collaborative settings and engaging in continuous process enhancement.
