The Privacy Program Manager will engage Security, Product, Marketing, Technology, and Digital teams at multiple levels across the company to drive effective and efficient privacy response processes and drive compliance within our Global Privacy Program. The role will work alongside Engineering, Security and Legal to build and integrate privacy-by-design principles. Strong program management skills for organizing information, breaking down complex problems, and working effectively in situations involving uncertainty are must-haves.core responsibilitiesConduct ongoing review, gap analysis and update of the current privacy program and policies to follow applicable data protection laws.Gather requirements from partners and produce clear, detailed project plans, including project goals, scope, approach, and overall task plan to provide transparency on critical path tasksDSAR/Privacy Questionnaires process, including on-boarding and analysis.Analyze and understand data flows to identify solutions to current and future privacy issues.Maintain internal and external privacy policies and notices.Provide operational privacy by design recommendations.Manage cross-functional projects to implement improved privacy processes.Proactively research current privacy standards and future standards that are relevant to organization.Drive critical ongoing process improvements for the program.Create privacy initiatives and training, and cultivate a culture emphasis on data privacy.Manage and develop team members.Support program level global privacy compliance. Advise Legal - Privacy Counsels on operationalization of privacy requirementsqualificationsBachelor’s degree and/or applicable experience in information technology, compliance, business administration or related disciplinePMP or CIPP/CIPM certification considered an asset Experience as a project manager is strongly preferredStrong leadership, sound judgment, critical thinking and decision-making skillsAptitude to learn and manage changeStrong written and verbal communication skills Ability to drive technical execution teams with competing priorities towards project objectives and timelinesAbility to successfully manage priorities within deadlines in a complex and rapidly evolving organizationKnowledge of retail environment an asset7-10+ years of project management/industry work experience would be ideal; but 4-5 years also acceptableFamiliarity with IT SDLC processes and compliance requirements such as PCI and SOX also idealmust havesAcknowledge the presence of choice in every moment and take personal responsibility for your life.Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovate to achieve great results. The typical hiring range for this position is from $152,300 – 199,900 annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
