Immigration Attorney

Job Overview Law firm seeks an Immigration Attorney in Santa Ana, CA. This role offers a promising opportunity for an admitted attorney to advance their career within an established firm. The successful candidate will manage their caseload, interact with clients, and collaborate with a team of attorneys and legal assistants. Duties Develop strategy and prepare clients and witnesses for court and USCIS testimony. Represent individuals in removal proceedings at Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals. Manage a workload of diverse immigration cases. Conduct intake with detained individuals at centers. Prepare immigration applications, including removal defense and family-based petitions. Review and adjust immigration applications and packets as needed. Collaborate with law enforcement and community organizations on immigration law changes. Meet with potential clients for strategic consultations and determine necessary strategies. Prepare and submit legal briefs for various immigration cases. Requirements At least 3–5 years of experience in Immigration Law. Team player open to collaboration and strategizing with associates. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required. Strong interpersonal skills. Proven ability to manage a caseload and advance legal cases. Experience with Family-Based Petitions, Humanitarian, EOIR, Detained, Citizenship, and other USCIS applications. Experience with Case Management Software is preferred. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree. Certifications Admitted to practice law. Skills Strong legal analysis and strategic planning abilities. Excellent communication and client interaction skills.
