Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial assessments to evaluate client mental health status and history.

• Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual patient needs, utilizing best practices in therapeutic techniques.

• Provide ongoing individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on a range of issues including but not limited to depression, anxiety, substance abuse, and more.
\n
• Utilize cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other evidence-based practices as appropriate for client treatment.

• Regularly monitor clients’ progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers and specialists, referring clients when necessary for additional support such as psychiatric services.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Centuria, you will work with a diverse population of clients, each presenting unique challenges. You will support individuals experiencing mental health disorders such as depression, anxiety, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. Your approach will emphasize cultural competence, recognizing and respecting the varied backgrounds and experiences of your clients while fostering a supportive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Pennsylvania.
\n
• A minimum of four years of professional experience in mental health counseling.
\n
• Strong knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with an ability to connect with clients from all walks of life.
\n
• Demonstrated crisis intervention skills with the capacity to handle challenging client situations calmly and effectively.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $75,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
