Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, your main responsibilities will include:

• Providing clinical services by developing and implementing personalized, recovery-oriented treatment plans that address each client's unique needs.

• Continuously assessing the treatment needs of clients through thoughtful evaluation and active engagement, ensuring that therapeutic approaches are effective and responsive.

• Assisting with the creation, monitoring, and execution of individual service plans to facilitate optimum client growth and success.
\n
• Engaging with clients in skill-building exercises to enhance coping, problem-solving, and effective communication skills.

• Educating clients on available community services, acting as an advocate in connecting them to necessary resources that support their recovery journey.

• Conducting regular check-ins with clients to track progress, adjust treatment strategies, and celebrate milestones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily involve supporting adult clients aged 18 and older who are navigating mental health challenges. These individuals often struggle with achieving community stability and independent living due to various mental health conditions. You will engage in meaningful conversations that foster trust, fostering a relationship where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and feelings.

Qualifications\n

To qualify for this role, you should possess the following:

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• A current state license issued by the state board as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD).

• The ability to practice independently without supervision, demonstrating sound judgment and decision-making in clinical scenarios.
\n
• A clean disciplinary history with no current actions against your license.
\n
• Proven experience providing direct clinical services to a diverse client population.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, characterized by empathy and an understanding nature.
\n
• Strong computer literacy, with the capacity to utilize telehealth technology effectively.
\n
• A reliable Wi-Fi connection to enable seamless client interactions.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, the following experiences are preferred:

Compensation and Benefits\n
