Commercial Superintendent

Job Responsibilities Play key role in managing and overseeing commercial aspects of projects, ensuring effective management of contracts, financials, and risks to optimize project success. Assist to prepare “Rights and Obligations Summaries” for both the Head Contracts and Subcontractors for use by the Project team, enabling compliance and execution. Manage claims and variations in collaboration with project teams to maximize entitlements and avoid disputes, ensuring timely submission and approval. Identify and mitigate contractual risks in Head Contracts and Subcontracts, ensuring compliance with project requirements and implementing effective risk‑mitigation strategies. Draft and strategize head contract letters/notices and develop standard contract letters/notices for contractual management of subcontractors. Set up subcontracts/supply agreements in conjunction with the Commercial Manager & SCM and implement standard templates. Formulate and administer subcontracts, referencing Head Contract principles and best practice. Review and advise on dispute resolution and appraise contractual entitlements of Head and/or subcontract issues, achieving win/win resolutions. Coordinate and facilitate collaboration between commercial, technical, and operational divisions to align contract administration, cost control, risk management and project execution. Lead preparation and implementation of Contract Management Plan and Subcontract Management Plan. Maintain and actively implement SHE programs and responsibilities, including the SHE Management System in line with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, SMK3 & SMKP standards. Education Bachelor’s degree in a construction‑related discipline, such as Commercial & Legal, Engineering, or QS, with demonstrated expertise in contract administration, claims management, and dispute resolution. Skill, Knowledge, and Experience Minimum 5+ years of experience in contract administration, commercial management, or procurement within construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects. Demonstrates ethical behavior, professionalism, and a positive attitude during team collaboration. Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, with a proactive approach to risk identification and resolution. Experience working in cross‑functional teams across different divisions. Excellent negotiation and communication abilities (fluent in English and Bahasa, both verbal and written). #J-18808-Ljbffr
