Business Development Manager (Dallas, TX)

Summary Qualified candidates are responsible for Mil/Aero sales, including key account sales responsibility, in the territory. Manage a collection of independent sales reps providing extended coverage across the region and collaborate with distribution partners. The right candidate will be passionate in advancing technologies within the Aerospace and the defense industries. In addition, this person will be a key member of the North American mil/aero sales team, reporting to the Sr. Manager of North America Mil/Aero sales. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Drive sales growth of Times Microwave products in the Mil/Aero market. Direct key account development and sales responsibility. Experience selling to the major military primes beneficial. Develop and manage key program and sales opportunities in the territory Coordinate with a team of other complementary direct Business Dev. Managers Generate customer quotations and proposals – working w/ Engineering, Programs and Finance teams as required Collaborate with engineering on custom product solutions Manage expectations between customers and the company on lead times, expedites, and availability Provide regular forecasting and pipeline updates Make decisions to support sales and grow the business Travel expectations up to 40% - 60% as required depending on location Qualifications/Requirements Bachelor's degree with a focus on business management, operations or engineering preferred Minimum 5-years' experience in outside sales environment Applications knowledge including Aeronautics, Missile Systems, Space, Electronic Warfare, Radar, and Ground Combat Vehicles Familiar with establishing and managing a sales rep network Experience with RF interconnect products, coaxial cable &/or related products a plus. Comfortable discussing technical requirements such as RF electrical specifications and mechanical requirements Highly accountable for performance in the territory Located within the region to support sales activity #J-18808-Ljbffr Times Microwave Systems
