Healing Touch Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist to join our compassionate and professional team based in Burke, Virginia. Work Environment

This role will require you to provide on-site care in the homes of our patients. Our team operates Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a focused work schedule that maximizes patient interaction and minimizes administrative burdens. You will have access to necessary resources and tools to effectively administer therapies and track patient progress, with flexibility geared towards the individual needs of each patient you serve.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to recognize and fulfill the objectives and requirements of each patient, ensuring a tailored therapeutic approach.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, providing focused attention to each person's needs and recovery journey.
• Develop and administer cost-effective therapeutic interventions that elevate clients' range of motion and mobility while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Create comprehensive and individualized treatment plans incorporating an array of therapeutic techniques—spanning manual therapy, exercise programs, and functional training.
• Design and implement customized fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient needs, emphasizing their unique physical capabilities and objectives.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their treatment processes to promote optimal functionality and engagement in their personal health journeys.
• Evaluate patient outcomes, monitor progress, and maintain accurate and timely documentation of services rendered while ensuring effective communication with patients and their families.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, as necessary, to facilitate comprehensive care for our patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on home care patients seeking rehabilitation services for a variety of conditions, including post-surgical recovery, orthopedic injuries, and chronic pain management. You will be tasked with developing rapport and trust with each patient, fostering a supportive environment that encourages participation in their rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid license as a Physical Therapist in Virginia, with no history of board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficient in manual therapy techniques and designing effective exercise programs.
• Comfortable utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems such as WebPT to document and track patient progress.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist working in orthopedic outpatient settings is preferred, although not required.
• Demonstrated proficiency in applying therapeutic techniques in a home care context.

Compensation and Benefits
