Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough assessments of patients, including detailed physical examinations and medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the analysis of imaging studies and lab reports
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement patient-specific surgical treatment plans
• Provide intraoperative support by preparing the operating room, positioning the patient, and efficiently passing instruments throughout procedures
• Ensure exceptional pre-operative and post-operative care, covering medication management, wound care, discharge strategies, and patient education

Education

• Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies from an accredited program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgical care is strongly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification necessary
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
