Area Sales Manager

Location: Central Florida Work Arrangement: Remote

You'll play a key role in solving real-world challenges. You'll apply your skills to deliver results that matter whether that's through engineering, planning or customer support. You'll work with purpose, learn every day and help shape a more sustainable future.

• Market Expansion: Drive revenue growth by turning sales strategies into market successes, focusing on expanding market share within Central Florida and surrounding regions including Tampa, Orlando, Claremont, Lakeland, and Ocala.

• Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, selling Weir and Townley products, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

• Sales Execution: Manage daily sales activities including prospecting, pipeline management, and closing deals, utilizing tools like Salesforce to track progress and opportunities.

• Team Collaboration: Work closely with a regional sales team of seven, sharing knowledge and supporting cross-training efforts to enhance product knowledge and territory coverage.

• Travel Requirements: Typically, travel involves three days working from home and one night away per week, with flexibility to adjust travel schedules as needed.

• Success Metrics: Success in this role means consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets, growing market share, and fostering long-term customer partnerships.

Must-haves:

• Mining-specific sales experience or relevant heavy industrial sales background

• Self-motivated and driven with strong problem-solving skills

• Proficiency in computer skills, ideally with Salesforce experience

• Ability to work effectively in a hands-on environment

Nice-to-haves:

• Experience selling to power, sand, agriculture, and gas industries

• Comfortable working in a remote setting with occasional travel
