Sales Engineer

We make products for the data center, utility, industrial, commercial, machine building, residential, aerospace and mobility markets.What you’ll do:This position is focused on finding opportunities to Promote filtration products & applications in industrial and hydraulics markets across Southeast Asia region The candidate is expected to have expert knowledge on both the applications and products. The focus of the position is to maximize sales growth and return on investment by preparing and executing strategies and tactical action plans.Identify and develop new opportunities and deliver value proposition proposals to the industrial and hydraulics market and customers in accordance with the strategic plans of the division, region, and country.Achieve annual sales and order targets for specified regionDevelop new OEMs within regionPursue proactive customer visits to create opportunities and establish professional relationships with OEM’s, EPC companies, and end-users.Prepare sales and order forecasts for specified region/customer/marketFormulate action plans for growing both industrial and hydraulic Filtration markets and customers, update action plans regularly, and summarize it for the periodic sales reviews.Organize daily activities in accordance with the strategic action plans.Support existing customers and channel partners to generate sales and orders to achieve growth and targeted projections.Technical presentation /Product presentation at customer siteCoordinate settlements of technical and commercial inquiries from the customers by getting involved with local, regional, and global teams within Eaton’s Filtration Division.Qualifications:At least 5-7 years of work experience as a sales engineer/manager in the hydraulic/ Process filtration companiesBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering is preferred.Willingness and ability to travel extensively 70% of time for customer visits across South East Asia CountriesPrior experience selling Filtration Products to Automotive, food and beverage, chemical , paper, steel plants, powerplants and other Industrial Process/ Hydraulic industryPractical experience of filter solution selling process (e.g., demo test procedure, field test in customer site, Pilot scale test before mass production)Prior Experience on Liquid Filtration (hydraulic and Process ) salesChannel Management experience.Understanding of value sellingStrong English communication and negotiation skillsCustomer network within Mobile/industrial /hydraulics marketsMarket KnowledgeStrong Presentation SkillsAbility to work independently, reporting to a manager interstate.Self-motivated and positive attitude and sense of prioritizationWilling to travel as needed to visit customers.Result oriented mind-setMS Office skills (Excel, PPT, Word) proficiency.Trouble shootingUsage of customer management tools such as salesforceAt Eaton, we don’t just want to offer you a job, but a journey and experience.
