Position Overview

Gentle Motion Physical Therapy, Inc. is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Licensed Physical Therapist to join our outpatient office located in Sanford, Florida. In this role, you will play a crucial part in delivering high-quality physical therapy services to our patients, helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals. The position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Work Environment

Our Sanford facility offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere that emphasizes teamwork and individual progress. As a full-time Physical Therapist, you will work on-site in an outpatient setting, providing direct patient care. The clinics operate Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life integration. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, taking detailed medical histories and performing specific assessments to establish effective treatment plans.

• Clearly communicate evaluation results and treatment procedures to both patients and their families, ensuring their involvement in setting achievable goals.

• Demonstrate skilled implementation of personalized treatment protocols based on the initial evaluation findings and ongoing assessments of the patient's condition.

• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals, recognizing and documenting any changes in a patient's condition that warrant adjustments to the established care plan.

• Ensure meticulous discharge planning and follow-up care, maintaining accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions including evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.

• Exhibit excellent time management skills, ensuring you meet both productivity targets and the scheduling needs of patients.

• Contribute positively to departmental objectives and initiatives, adhering to all relevant regulations and compliance standards.

• Support a positive patient experience by being adaptable and responsive to individual patient needs and feedback.

• Engage actively in community outreach and educational activities aimed at raising awareness about physical therapy services.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on a diverse patient population ranging from those recovering from surgery to individuals with chronic pain or mobility issues. You will work closely with various demographics, helping them regain independence in their daily lives through tailored physical rehabilitation programs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• A valid license to practice Physical Therapy in Florida, or eligibility for licensure.

• Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers CPR certification.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting is highly preferred.

• Experience in outpatient therapy and familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems are advantageous.
