Position Summary
A Miami-based organization is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to support its day-to-day human resources operations. This position will oversee payroll and employee data while supporting recruitment, onboarding, compliance, performance management, training, reporting, and employee relations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee payroll and timekeeping processes
- Maintain employee records and ensure HR data is accurate and current
- Prepare reports and provide workforce information to leadership
- Coordinate recruiting, onboarding, employee changes, and offboarding
- Support performance reviews and employee training programs
- Provide guidance to employees and managers regarding policies and workplace matters
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and recordkeeping requirements
- Prepare documentation for audits and respond to HR-related information requests
- Recommend improvements to HR processes, procedures, and systems
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required
- 10+ years of progressive human resources experience
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- Hands-on experience with payroll, time and attendance, and HRIS administration
- Experience with recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training, compliance, audits, and HR reporting
- Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential employee information appropriately
