Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify needs and suitable interventions.

• Provide crisis intervention and support, remaining calm and empathetic in high-stress situations.

• Facilitate referrals to external agencies and resources to connect clients to additional services, such as substance abuse programs or counseling services.

• Engage clients in meaningful therapeutic activities, promoting their involvement in treatment processes and community resources.

• Monitor ongoing client progress and adapt interventions based on evolving needs and feedback.

• Participate in regular professional development activities including training sessions, supervision, and team meetings.

• Be vigilant for signs of child abuse or other critical issues, ensuring appropriate reporting and intervention.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve clients within our community health clinic who are facing difficulties such as emotional distress, trauma, and behavioral issues. Your expertise in assessment and treatment will assist clients from various backgrounds, ensuring they receive personalized care tailored to their unique circumstances. Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a related field is required.

• Current Licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New Jersey is mandatory.
